School Visits
Educational school visits: KS1 and KS2 History and Geography
Jacki can visit your school as Isabella Bird or Mary Kingsley who were both significant individuals from the past who have contributed to national and international achievements.
Depending on your requirements, Jacki can do workshops in role as either of the female Victorian explorers, Kingsley or Bird, and also as herself; a modern female explorer.
The Geography programme of study can include, in consultation with the class teacher, content that would develop contextual knowledge of the location of globally significant places including physical and human characteristics.
Books can you be bought at a discount.
The cost is £150 for two workshops and follow-up work, up to 150 miles from Bristol.
